Do I need a smart meter or solar system to use these tools?
No. Comparison and most analytics work from any bill. Real inverter tracking needs a compatible SolarEdge or Fronius inverter, and Energy Weather works from your usage and location.
Is the rate-change reader accurate for my household?
It reads the new rates from the notice you upload and costs them against your own real usage, not an average household, so the comparison is specific to your bill.
What does "proven to within a few percent" mean?
Before we show you a saving, we reproduce the bill you already pay using the same rates and your real usage. If we can’t get close, we tell you rather than showing a number we can’t stand behind.
